Explore Art Trowbridge on Easter Saturday - 20 April

Join in and Explore Art Trowbridge (EAT) on Easter Saturday, 20 April 2019, between 10am to 6pm. This collaboration between Trowbridge Museum, Town Hall Arts, Drawing Projects UK and Court Street Gallery aims to showcase the amazing, and growing, cultural and artistic offer in Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire. 

 

At Drawing Projects UK, you can visit the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2018 exhibition between 10am and 4pm, enjoy delicious food and refreshments at Miranda's Coffee Shop from 8am to 4pm, and hear Professor Anita Taylor talk about Creating Opportunities and the Importance of Drawing in our Drawing Discussion event at 4pm. Free entry to the exhibition; Drawing Discussion is ticketed, so advance booking is recommended.

 

At Town Hall Arts there will be a drop-in workshop from 10.30am - 12.30pm: Automatic Drawing with Katryn Saqui. Join artist Katryn Saqui, and discover the art of automatic drawing in the context of her exhibition I’m Not So Cream On Crackers, which explores links between creativity and dementia behaviours. This fun, informative workshop is for all ages and abilities interested in exploring creativity, and the exhibition, have free entry.
