Drawing Our Worlds - A One-Day Drawing Symposium. Join us for this one-day symposium held in association with the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2025 exhibition at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London on Thursday 9 October from 11am to 5pm. Book your place here!

This symposium offers an inclusive and dynamic exploration of drawing – a celebration of drawing that combines hearing from drawing experts, artists and makers included in the exhibition, and others who have drawing at the heart of their practices - and will include active drawing sessions.

Drawing Our Worlds is convened by Anita Taylor and will include presentations and drawing sessions led by a host of inspiring contributors, including Chloe Briggs, Tania Kovats, Juliette Losq, Leena Nammari, Isabel Rock, Jake Spicer, Miranda Whall.

Following an introduction to the day, there will be two thematic discussion panels and a practical drawing sessions based on themes associated to the 2025 exhibition, followed by a plenary discussion:

Session 1) Drawing our Worlds: past, present, future - presentations and discussions.
Session 2) Drawing Our Worlds: in practice - practical drawing sessions led by presenters.
Session 3) Drawing Our Worlds: personal, people, place - presentations and discussions

Drawing Our Worlds builds on the series of one-day symposia, devised by Drawing Correspondence (Chloe Briggs, Tania Kovats, Anita Taylor) for the Royal Museums Greenwich in 2023, Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2024, and The John Ruskin Prize 2025. See a short film of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2024 Symposium, I draw a line from me to you here for a flavour of the day ahead.

Please bring along your sketchbook, notebooks and dry drawing materials - and settle in for this immersive day exploring drawing in its many forms in the context of Trinity Buoy Wharf and the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2025 exhibition. There will be opportunity to visit the exhibition during the day.

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2025 is open to the public at Trinity Buoy Wharf from Thursday 9th October to Sunday 19th October and is open daily from 11am to 6pm. Free entry.
